Commercial Partnerships Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a Commercial Partnerships Manager who will drive revenue growth by securing high-value partnerships, negotiating commercial agreements, and maximizing financial returns from strategic collaborations. 
This role requires a dynamic sales mindset, a strong commercial acumen, and the ability to close deals that deliver measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Growth & Revenue Generation:

Identify, engage, and secure high-value commercial partnerships that contribute directly to revenue growth.
Structure and negotiate deals that drive profitability, market expansion, and commercial success.
Develop a robust pipeline of partners, prioritizing those with high revenue potential.

Strategic Partnerships & Business Expansion:

Build relationships with key decision-makers in corporate enterprises, municipalities, and international organizations.
Identify new market opportunities where GIVO’s solutions can be commercialized through partnerships.
Develop joint value propositions that align GIVO’s services with the strategic needs of partners.

Deal Structuring & Negotiation:

Lead end-to-end deal negotiations, from initial outreach to contract closure.
Define partnership terms that optimize financial performance while ensuring mutual benefit.
Work with legal and finance teams to ensure agreements are commercially viable and scalable.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning:

Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging opportunities in waste management, recycling, and sustainability.
Analyze competitors and benchmark partnership models to maintain GIVO’s competitive edge.
Provide data-driven insights to influence sales, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.

Relationship Management & Account Growth:

Manage and grow existing partnerships to increase commercial value over time.
Develop and execute account expansion strategies, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Act as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
Engage with key stakeholders in NGOs, government and private sector.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of partnership agreements.
Align partnership strategies with broader company objectives, including product development and regional expansion.
Support the creation of sales materials, pitch decks, and proposals to enhance partner engagement.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Minimum 5 years in a commercial partnership, business development, or strategic sales role.
Proven ability to close high-value deals and achieve revenue targets.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong commercial mindset with experience in structuring and negotiating deals.
Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven sales strategies.
Knowledge of sustainability, waste management, or circular economy solutions is a plus.
Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving financial targets.
Entrepreneurial thinker who can identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
Confident negotiator with experience in closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

Salary
N600,000 – N800,000 monthly.
