Commercial Manager

Job DescriptionWe are currently representing a successful Marine organisation focused on Oil and Gas projects and renowned for their services worldwide are seeking to identify a Commercial Manager to be based in West Africa, taking charge of the commercial department, tendering costs, commercial bidding and management of current and future oil majors of the chartering of offshore supply vessels regionally.The role:This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership and direction to all the business opportunities across Africa, making sure existing contracts are maintained whilst also identifying new business opportunities with new clients. You will market and develop company’s fleet & assets, drive negotiations whist also lending your expertise to tendering and commercial bidding process.Responsibilities:

Be accountable for identifying new business opportunities across West Africa which are in line with the company’s business strategy.
Ensuring that the regional commercial targets are met whilst maintaining business relations with clients on existing contracts.
Be accountable for marketing and developing vessels, assets and services through regular client liaison with existing and potential client stakeholders
Be responsible for driving the bid and contract negotiations whilst closely working with and consulting with tendering and other SME’s process and providing professional commercial input on the bid.

Requirements:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Commercial and preferably from a maritime related field
Must possess a minimum of 8 year of relevant experience within the marine services sector.
Should showcase proven track record in the submission of winning bids and possess excellent skillset in building and maintaining business relations.
A natural born leader with capability to lead a multi-cultural team coupled with a persuasive personality and strong analytical and communication skillset.
Must show willingness to travel
