Commercial Manager

Job Responsibilities

Strategy formulation & implementation

Develop, review, and report on commercial’s strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are achieve
Analyze macro-economic outlook and corresponding investment opportunities;
Develop and propose potential investments based on the company’s investment criteria;
Carry out research and develop an implementation strategy for green and brown field ventures
Leverage on resources bodies for relevant business information and manage the execution process of ventures;
Coordinate efficient investment processes and procedures and mange totality of project lifecycle
Monitor global and regional events, rules and policies and its impact on the business
Track industry events and activities and monitor the performance of competitors, suppliers and other services.
Design products/ services in line with TSL’s strategic growth plan and monitor the performance of products/ service life cycles.
Execute special projects as needed and manages the process of generating, selling and onboarding new projects.
Generates Memorandum of Understanding and contract of sale for new customers
Liaises with various departments for actualization of new contract and ensure new contracts are fully integrated
Manages Service Level Agreement performance of customers and undertake contract review in line with contract specification.

Management of commercial function including:

Customer Relationship Management

Developing a credible value proposition for TSL customers
Manage the customer relations and Client Support Service function.
Identify and develop new business partnerships with customer/clients in order to build long-lasting and rewarding relationship

Business Development

Develop existing and new commercial opportunities for organization; develop client proposals
Evaluate emerging industry trends and advice management for necessary actions
Evaluate various SLA contracts and advise management on profitability

Business Reporting

Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly reports on business performance in order to optimize opportunities, outputs and revenue.

Project Management

Oversee the successfully management of corporate-wide projects to budget and time limits

Expenditure

present a yearly budget for management approval and prudently manage resources within those budget guidelines according to company policy and within ethical corporate governance guidelines

Job Requirement

A relevant postgraduate business qualification (MBA or equivalent tertiary)
Minimum of 7 years’ experience with the last three years in a strategic management
Membership of recognized financial management body (ACA, ACCA, CFA)
Possession of Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMI etc.)
