Client Service Executive Medical Officer (Post-NYSC)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Client Service Executive to join our hospital team.
This role involves delivering exceptional customer service to patients and their families, managing billing processes, and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
The position requires flexibility to work in shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Interaction and Support:

Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors with professionalism and empathy.
Address inquiries regarding hospital services, procedures, and policies.
Guide patients through admission, discharge, and other hospital processes.

Billing and Financial Services:

Ensure daily sales are reconciled with the EMR for proper accounting system.
Account reconciliation on payment received and expenses incurred in the daily running.
Ensure regular update of Admission bill and payment settlement before discharge
Follow-up with debtor and ensure prompt payment
Management of receivables from clients via Cash, Cheque, Direct Payment and Inter-switch.
Ensuring all receivables are remitted to the account department.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and transactions.
Update and manage patient data in hospital systems.
Support the coordination of appointments, consultations, and other services.

Communication and Coordination:

Act as a liaison between patients, families, and medical staff to ensure seamless communication.
Collaborate with internal teams to address patient concerns promptly.

HMO Coordination:

Liaise with HMO’s and other retainership for patient eligibility and approval
Coordinate with HMOs and other retainers to verify patient eligibility.
Check patients ID to confirm active HMO coverage and obtain authorization code before commencing secondary treatments or admission solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant certification in healthcare, Business, or a related field.
1 – 2 years of experience in customer service
Proficiency in using hospital management systems, microsoft office packagesand billing software.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours and in a shift-based schedule.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be available to resume immediately
Past experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage.
