Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team in Asaba, to oversee the design, development, and implementation of civil and structural projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop civil and structural projects, including buildings, bridges, roads, and other infrastructure
Conduct site investigations and surveys to determine the suitability of sites for construction projects
Prepare and review detailed designs, specifications, and cost estimates for projects
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to the required standards
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure that projects are completed to the required quality standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years professional experience in civil/structural engineering
Professional certification (e.g. COREN, NSE) is an added advantage
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards
Excellent design and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and project management skills
Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
