Job Summary
Highly skilled and motivated Civil Projects Professional to oversee and manage construction and infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and successful completion of civil projects, ensuring compliance with standards, safety protocols, and budgetary constraints.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Design
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and designs.
Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure feasibility.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for project execution and management
Supervise onsite construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Monitor quality control standards and ensure adherence to design and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for seamless project execution.
Identify and mitigate potential risks or delays in projects, compliance and safety
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct site inspections to maintain a safe working environment for all workers. stakeholder communication
Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, clients, and management.
Address client queries and ensure satisfaction with project deliverables, documentation, and reporting.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, costs, and correspondence.
Prepare and submit project completion reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Optional Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, etc.) is a plus.
10 years + of experience in civil project management, construction, or infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated expertise in managing specific types of projects, e.g., buildings, road works, refurbishments, etc.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and project management tools.
Proficient in using software like AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, or similar.
Excellent problemsolving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Effective leadership and communication skills to manage teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with relevant local regulations and building codes.
