Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Design, plan, and oversee construction of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and drainage systems.
Prepare and review project estimates, schedules, and budgets.
Monitor site progress and ensure safety compliance.
Provide technical support and resolve engineering issues as they arise.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
Conduct inspections and tests to ensure quality control and adherence to engineering standards.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

COREN Certified: A valid COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria) certificate is a mandatory requirement.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on construction projects.
Proven experience in building, roadworks, drainage, and infrastructure projects.
Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent knowledge of engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of Nigerian building codes and regulations.
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
