OVERVIEW
We urgently need a Cinematographer and film editor to teach in our film academy. We need someone that can teach our cinematography students efficient camera handling and video editing.
Work you’ll do
Teach students cinema camera(s), set lighting, and adjust sound (or provide leadership to crew on set who has those roles), Video editing with different kinds of methods and software. The teacher will also have to them how to scout locations, run casting calls and pull permits.
We’re looking for someone who also likes to work with a team in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have a high level of knowledge and experience with editing and cinematography tools. Photoshop and Audio Software knowledge is a plus.
This position is also responsible to teach hosting, setting up and performing video shoots onsite and offsite. Knowledge of high definition cameras, lighting, editing, storyboarding and audio for video shoots is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Filmmaking (or related field) degree or accreditation (certification)
Experience teaching students creating a film that.
360 degree video storytelling and production.
Experience with complex sound/microphone arrangements and video editing.
