About Us
The Empowered Tribe is a dynamic, Spirit-led church ministry dedicated to spiritual growth, community service, and empowering individuals to live according to God’s word. We are seeking a highly organized and spiritually mature Church Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of our ministry, ensuring smooth and efficient administration in line with our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all administrative functions of the ministry, including managing correspondence, filing, and scheduling.
Coordinate church events, services, and meetings, including handling logistics such as venue setup and volunteer coordination.
Maintain and manage church records, including membership databases, financial records, and inventory.
Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and expense tracking in collaboration with ministry leadership.
Serve as the primary point of contact for members, visitors, and external vendors, handling inquiries and providing information.
Support the pastor and leadership team in their administrative tasks.
Ensure smooth office operations, including managing supplies, overseeing building maintenance, and handling IT and equipment needs.
Assist with ministry communications, including maintaining the website, social media accounts, and newsletters.
Coordinate volunteer efforts, including recruitment, scheduling, and management for various ministry activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably in a church or ministry setting.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and church management software is preferred.
Financial management experience is a plus.
