Job Summary
The CTO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s technological vision, overseeing all technical aspects of the business, and ensuring the effective integration of innovative technologies to achieve organizational goals.
This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape and the ability to lead high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Oversee the design, development, and optimization of the company’s e-commerce platform and technology infrastructure.
Lead the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Drive the development of scalable, secure, and high-performing systems to support business growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with marketing, operations, and customer service goals.
Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for all technology projects.
Establish and maintain best practices for software development, system architecture, and IT operations.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure the company remains at the forefront of e-commerce innovation.
Build and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Ensure data security, compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements
Minimum of 10 years experience in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a CTO or similar capacity within the e-commerce industry (mandatory).
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA or advanced technical certifications are a plus).
Strong expertise in e-commerce platforms, digital payments, logistics integration, and web/mobile application development.
Proven experience with cloud computing, AI/ML, and big data analytics.
Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices and data protection regulations.
