This role will involve managing daily mechanical operational & plant maintenance services; managing the physical and human resources required to ensure efficient plant operations and technical services while integrating the strategic plans of the organization to ensure attainment of the business objective.
Job Responsibilities
People Development and Management
Monitoring O&M Contractor to implement O&M Agreement and Plant Operations:
Develop and monitor operating procedures and guidelines across the plant
Revenue Invoices and Reporting
Ensure the compliance and control of Safety, Quality & Environment procedures and standards
Liaison with the regulatory and other governmental agencies to finalize and implement all agreements
Contractual and Commercial interactions with off taker, Fuel gas supplier and Insurers
Planning, budgeting and forecasting of annual, short term and long term revenue
Special projects and assignments such as supporting the business development & technical teams
Experience and Qualifications Business leadership; General Management in the power sector
A mechanical engineering background with hands-on experience in an electricity / power plant
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a leadership position
A minimum of 15 years’ experience in a similar role Relevant certifications and trainings is an added advantage
