Job Description:Be critically involved in developing this micro-finance organisation into a leader in the Nigerian market, with the support of the group.

Responsibilities:

Report to local authorities and local supervision bodies
Report to investors, organizing boards and regular meetings
Organise and advise on the control of finance, administration and accounting of the company
Define, control and supervise the execution of internal procedures for the finance and accounting departments of the company, especially the cash management, and develop costs control and risk control tools
Supervise and control the accounting and financial statements on a monthly basis
Control the application of local regulation and communicate to internal and external auditors, as well as enabling the application of IFRS formats and rules for the consolidation of accounts

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

Previous experience in microfinance
Knowledge of microfinance bank operations (loans, savings, etc.)
Knowledge of individual lending methodologies in microfinance
CPA (desired)
Knowledge of internal control
Fluent in English
University degree in management/finance
5-10 years of experience in accounting/finance (preferably in Nigeria)
