Responsibilities
Be committed to educational excellence and the ethos of the school that will help to ensure our learners excel.
Have high expectations for the behaviour and academic progress of our students.
Work with the Head of Department and within the context of the school’s curriculum.
Teach engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire and improve learners attainment.
Educating students on lab safety and ensuring all experiments are carried out responsibly.
Setting up tests, assignments, experiments, and grading students fairly.
Ensure students acquire and consolidate knowledge, skills and understanding appropriate to the subject taught.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic and emotional growth
Assess students’ progress with constructive feedback.
Organise trips and visits to enhance the learning experience of all students.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in education with a specialization in Chemistry or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Physics Teacher( Minimum of 3 years).
Experience preparing learners for IGCSE, UTME, WAEC & NECO
A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.
Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
Organized, flexible disposition.
