Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to hotel recipes and guest preferences.
Ensure food is presented attractively and meets quality standards.
Assist in menu planning, food portioning, and plating.
Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and mixing sauces.
Ensure timely preparation of meals, especially during peak hours.
Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth service.
Monitor food stock levels and communicate with kitchen management for replenishments.
Follow proper food storage and labeling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations.
Follow food safety standards, including proper food handling, temperature control, and sanitation.
Adhere to all hotel and local health regulations.
Wear appropriate kitchen attire, including gloves and head coverings.
Minimize food waste by following portion control guidelines.
Properly store and rotate ingredients to ensure freshness and avoid spoilage.
Assist in inventory checks and stock management.
Assist with special events, banquets, or catering services as needed.
Maintain professional behavior and teamwork in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
Stay updated on new cooking techniques and hotel menu changes.

Requirements

Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification with 6 years work experience.
