Cashier Waiter

Job Description

We’re seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our restaurant team.
As a Cashier, you’ll provide exceptional customer service, process transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and organized dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers, take orders, and process payments.
Operate Point of Sale (POS) system with accuracy and speed.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and mobile payments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
Provide customers with menus, promotions, and loyalty program information.
Answer phone calls, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues.
Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
Process take-out and delivery orders.
Manage cash handling, including counting change and balancing till.
Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

Candidates should possess an OND / NCE qualification with 2 – 3 years relevant work experience as a cashier or in a related role.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash.
Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant software.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Desirable Qualities:

Previous experience in the food service industry.
Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures.
