Duties
Decorates cakes and pastries Trims uneven surfaces of cakes or cuts and shapes cake to required size
Spreads icing between layers and on surfaces of cake Prepare and mix icing May be required to mix and bake cakes or pastries
Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen or bakery
Create decorative displays
Skills / Qualifications
Culinary training or knowledge
Excellent communication skills (oral) Assertiveness, adaptability and efficiency
Being creative and artistic
Being physically resilient
Reading and understanding written instructions
Teamwork and safety
