Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Manager – Supply Chain Financing to lead and manage our Supply Chain Financing Strategic Business Unit (SBU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all supply chain financing transactions, sourcing new business opportunities, and securing Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) from manufacturers, FMCGs, Retail Stores and other corporate businesses. The role involves structuring supply chain financing solutions, managing relationships with clients and suppliers, and ensuring the seamless execution of transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies for supply chain financing, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Identify and secure Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) from manufacturers, FMCGs, and other corporate businesses for financing.
Manage end-to-end supply chain financing transactions, from client onboarding to loan disbursement and repayment tracking.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and corporate clients to drive financing opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams, including risk management, finance, and operations, to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth in supply chain financing.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies related to supply chain financing.
Drive revenue growth for the Supply Chain Financing SBU through business development and innovative financing solutions.
Prepare periodic reports on the performance of the SBU, including transaction volumes, profitability, and market trends.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.MBA or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain financing, trade finance, banking, or financial services.
Strong understanding of supply chain operations, LPO financing, and credit riskassessment.
Proven track record in business development and managing financial transactions.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical skills and ability to structure financing solutions.
Proficiency in financial analysis, credit assessment, and deal structuring.
