Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution
Develop and implement business strategies to meet the company’s goals and objectives.
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company’s market share.
Oversee project pipelines and ensure efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
Operations Management
Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination between design, procurement, and execution teams.
Monitor workflow processes and ensure timely delivery of projects within budget constraints.
Handle vendor and supplier negotiations for cost-effective sourcing of materials.
Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Understand client needs, interpret their vision, and align deliverables accordingly.
Resolve conflicts and issues to maintain strong client relationships.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead, motivate, and mentor design, sales, and operations teams to meet business objectives.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training for skill development.
Foster a collaborative work environment to drive creativity and productivity.
Financial Management
Develop budgets and financial forecasts to support business growth.
Monitor financial performance, including profitability, cash flow, and expenses.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and oversee invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
Marketing and Business Development
Drive marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns and networking events, to attract clients.
Collaborate with design teams to create compelling portfolios and presentations for prospective clients.
Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Identify potential risks in operations or project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent is a plus for strategic and financial acumen.
Experience
Proven experience (5+ years) in business management, preferably in the interior design, construction, or creative industry.
Demonstrated success in client acquisition, project delivery, and team leadership.
Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of the interior design industry, including market trends and competitive landscape.
Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive results.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for client and vendor relations.
Proficient in project management tools, CRM software, and financial reporting systems.
Creative problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
Knowledge of Design and Construction
Familiarity with design concepts, construction materials, and processes is advantageous.
Ability to translate creative visions into actionable plans.
Analytical and Financial Acumen
Strong analytical skills for interpreting market data and making informed decisions.
Competence in budgeting, cost management, and financial forecasting.
Flexibility and Adaptability
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to dynamic priorities.
