Business Development Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven director of business development to increase company revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies. The responsibilities of the director of business development include recommending ways to improve operations planning, attending meetings with clients and advisors, and notifying partners of key business developments.

Job Responsibilities:

Building solid relationships with customers, vendors and distributors, as well as sales and marketing teams.
Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
Assessing marketing and sales as well as supplier and vendor operations and recommending improvements as needed.
Preparing all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs)
Researching emerging trends and recommending new company offerings to satisfy customers’ needs.
Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business.
Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections
Develops and strengthens internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share.
Builds cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth.
Help shape the company’s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them.
Presenting business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management.
Develop initiatives to reach end users through partners and work with sales team to develop tools and collateral to support them
Explore new business opportunities to help grow the company

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or related field; master’s degree is advantageous.
2-4 years’ sales or marketing experience
Knowledge and experience in the CCTV industry is preferred
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Proven business development, sales, or marketing experience.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Strong business acumen.
Detail-oriented and persuasive.
Must be based in Lagos, Nigeria
Must be fluent in English
