We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development and Sales Executive to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and promoting our fixed income trading and asset management solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of financial markets, excellent networking abilities, and a proven sales track record.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
Develop strategies to penetrate target markets, including institutional and retail investors.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.
Sales and Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, institutional clients, and corporate organizations.
Pitch fixed income and asset management products to prospective clients, tailoring solutions to their investment goals.
Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Client Engagement:
Provide clients with regular market updates, performance reports, and investment insights. Address client queries and concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Foster long-term partnerships by offering personalized financial solutions.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, any core science or technology discipline, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Skills and Competencies:
Proven ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building client trust.
Strong understanding of fixed income securities, asset management, and investment strategies.
Ability to analyse financial markets and interpret data to make informed recommendations.
Established network within Nigeria\’s financial and investment community is preferred.
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or relationship management within the financial services sector.
Prior experience in fixed income trading or asset management is highly desirable.
