Mission / Core Purpose of the Job
Assist to develop, implement, and manage the organisation’s sales strategy & operations to acquire new businesses and clients thus delivering on the company’s goals for revenue and customer satisfaction
Maintain and expand the company’s clientele and deepen existing relationships with the company’s customers.
Key Performance Areas
Identify new business opportunities & growth strategies for the company with keen focus on sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction
Schedule and attend meetings with prospective or existing clients (with marketing executives if required); Assess client’s needs and recommend the relevant company’s products/services that meet the client’s objectives/needs
Assist in developing business proposals and relevant documents needed to aid sales discussions and engagements/negotiations with relevant stakeholders
Support the implementation of sales strategies and plans and ensure the set sales target is achieved
Assist in planning and execute research and market intelligence activities that help to identify potential markets/leads, mine feedback & information for product /service development to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize the effects of competition
Prepare and close commercial / sales contracts in adherence to the company’s policies/processes/procedures and relevant regulatory provisions
Develop and maintain the relationships with customers (new, existing, and prospective) to sustain/improve customer experience & promote brand loyalty.
Assist to plan, coordinating, and managing the organisation’s Corporate Social Responsibility campaigns
Prepare weekly/monthly and present sales reports for strategic decision-making
Key Performance Indicators- Indicators of Success
Total number of overall sales targets achieved (60%)
Quality and Number of business/commercialization plans approved and successfully rolled out. (20%)
Total number of new customers acquired and retained, and the volume of funds inputted into the business by each customer. (20%).
Job Specifications
Minimum & Preferred Requirements Education / Business Degree:
First Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
Work Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant sales experience
Experience in supporting management in developing and implementing business growth strategies
Proven ability to originate and close complex deals.
