Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities;
Supervise the project team and review their reports.
Lead and facilitate Project Teams and Stakeholders towards excellence in Project delivery and optimum performance whilst ensuring that project tasks are completed in a safe and environmentally compliant manner
Determine labor requirements, supplies, materials and dispatch workers to construction sites.
Meet with Owners and Design Professionals to determine project requirements;
Manage client satisfaction, and take immediate action to respond to problems and concerns;
Negotiate contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders to ensure all project goals are being addressed;
Ensure that a comprehensive risk management plan and implementation strategy is adopted and implemented from the on- set of AMG projects.
Develop and implement dynamic schedule for the implementation of pre-contract stages of all AMG projects.
Establishing scope and budget estimates for projects; look for funding for the projects and develop complete project schedules.
Establishing, managing and inspecting all projects progress through meetings and field inspections, and ensures compliance with Institute standards.
Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
Develop a cost effective plan and schedule for completion of project following a logical pattern for utilization of resources
Responsible for proper administration of construction contract and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
Manage the construction workflow process starting in the project origination phase, to include estimating, negotiation, contracting, buyout, construction administration, financial and closeout;
Evaluate projects for constructability and value-engineer cost savings;
Establish, monitor, communicate and maintain project schedules utilizing contemporary scheduling software;
Develop and implement strategies to self-perform and to outsource the various aspects of a project to achieve the project’s objectives of price, schedule and quality;
Proactively identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutions;
Conduct and document project progress meetings;
Manage project costs to ensure budgets are maintained
Manage/market the project management arm of AMG especially in the areas of project Advisory
Lead the planning and implementation of projects and develop full scale project plans.
Introduce business process Improvement
Plan and review project deliverables

Responsible for the overall projects handled by AMG, Project advisory for our various clients.
Overall direction, scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, project planning, contract administration, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Use various business development tactics to access the decision makers at targeted organizations.
Prepare and lead proposals.
Act as the capture manager for new opportunities.
Organize and attend trade shows and conferences.
Support contractual negotiation.
Lead opportunities from start to finish and close deals.
Creation of marketing material.
Desired Skills & ExperienceQualification/Experience
A Bachelor’s degree and at least an Upper credit in Civil engineering, Project management, building technology or any related course
A postgraduate degree or certification in project management.
Minimum of 7 years experience in construction
Extensive experience in project management documentation
Experience in business development and strategy
Direct work experience in project management capacity
Must have initiated and concluded multiple residential construction projects.
Wide knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Proven experience in people management, risk management, change management
Proven experience in strategic planning in business
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
