Business Development Officer, Investment Banking

Job Summary

The Business Development Officer will play a critical role in expanding our Investment Banking Division’s presence across South West and South East region. This role requires extensive experience in the public sector and a proven track record of managing relationships within the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with public sector entities and key stakeholders in the [South West/South East] region.
Strategic Engagement: Formulate and execute strategies to identify and capture capital raising/investment opportunities.
Regional Market Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of the assigned region to provide access and clients acquisition.
Leadership and Team Collaboration: Serve as a regional lead, working closely with the investment banking team to coordinate client engagements and support overall division goals.

Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years in a commercial banking role focused on the public sector.
Managerial Skills: Proven managerial experience with a track record of leading successful client engagements.
Regional Expertise: Deep knowledge of the assigned geopolitical zone, with an established network in the public sector.
