Job Summary
A Business Development Officer develops and executes strategies to increase business sales and profits.
The main duties include researching market trends and opportunities, developing business and marketing plans, and meeting with potential and existing investors or clients.

Responsibilities
Serves as the key point of contact between the organization and its prospects-clients.
Attends to prospects-clients queries and offering advice
Introducing and presenting company’s products (new and existing) to prospects and audiences
Develop various means and approaches(calls, texts, emails, digital adverts) to reach out to the company’s target audience
Meeting with clients during sales visits.
Establishing new business
Maintaining, reporting and presenting accurate records
Making site inspections stress free and smooth for prospects to take decisions
Provides prospects all information requires for their decision making
Work with the leads and covert them to prospect-clients
Meeting up with agreed target (monthly, quarterly and yearly)
Ensures that clients document are available and delivered promptly
Meeting company’s expectation and target- financials and customers
Build good relationship with existing client for referrals
Create plans to address clients’ business needs
Schedule regular follow up with leads and prospects
Study competition to find new ways to generate leads, prospects and customers.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Customer care, Projects, Digital, Account, Senior management) to address customers’ needs.
Ensure that all forms and documents are duly filled and submitted before real estate transactions are executed.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications: Such as Real Estate Marketing Certification, Digital Marketing Certification, or other relevant certifications.
Experience:
5-7years of experience: In marketing, sales, or business development, preferably in the real estate industry.
Proven track record: Of achieving sales or marketing targets, and demonstrating success in business development.
Skills and Knowledge:
Marketing and sales skills: Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies, identify sales opportunities, and close deals.
Communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Digital marketing skills: Knowledge of digital marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Data analysis and reporting skills: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform marketing strategies and measure performance.
Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the real estate industry, including market trends, regulations, and best practices.
Time management and organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Negotiation and persuasion skills: Ability to negotiate and persuade clients to purchase properties.
Benefits
Salary: N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
