Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in growing Erisco’s presence in the solar energy market by developing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving sales of solar energy products and services.
This individual will be responsible for identifying market trends, managing client relationships, and promoting the adoption of solar energy solutions across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar energy market within Lekki and Alaba.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including businesses, governmental organizations, and other stakeholders.
Drive sales efforts for solar energy products and services, including preparing proposals, presenting solutions, and closing deals.
Conduct market analysis and competitor research to understand emerging trends and customer needs.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
Represent Erisco at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to increase brand visibility and business growth.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the renewable energy or solar energy industry.
Strong understanding of the solar energy market, systems, and technologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven track record of successfully closing business deals and driving growth.
Familiarity with the local market dynamics in Lekki and Alaba.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainable development.
