Business Development Manager – Sales

Summary

The Business Development Manager – Sales will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of sales experience, negotiation skills, and the ability to expand the company’s customer base.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and business objectives.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, potential clients, and emerging trends. Analyze competitors and customer needs to stay ahead in the market.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify and target potential clients, build a solid pipeline, and convert prospects into long-term customers. Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and continued business.
Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Lead sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with prospective clients. Tailor presentations to meet client needs and address any objections or concerns.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure the company’s offerings align with client expectations.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management. Track progress against sales goals and adjust strategies as necessary.
Networking and Industry Events: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 – 5 years experience.
