Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the marketing team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, with a strong focus on liability generation and quality risk asset creation. 
This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in selling banking products, achieving and surpassing set targets, and providing strategic leadership to influence and motivate the team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth in liability generation and risk asset creation.
Lead the marketing team to achieve and exceed set sales and business development targets.
Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best banking practices.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Banking & Finance or a related field.
Professional certifications such as AIB, MCIB, or ACA will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in banking or financial institutions, with a strong preference for candidates with Microfinance Bank experience.
Strong leadership, sales, and business development skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant banking applications.
