Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead growth initiatives for our security services business. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in business development, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the security industry, including regulatory requirements for importation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market share and revenue streams in security services and other importation services.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends to drive growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government agencies, and stakeholders.
Identify client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and competitors.
Analyze market trends to position the company as a leader in security services and arms trade.
Ensure all business activities comply with national and international laws regarding security.
Liaise with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and licenses.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company’s services and products.
Oversee the preparation of bids, proposals, and presentations for potential clients.al clients.
Collaborate with local and international suppliers for importation of goods.
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers and partners.
Work closely with internal teams, including operations and compliance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities and performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, preferably in the security services.
In-depth knowledge of local and international regulations security services and importation.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
