Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

Work with the Management to review vendors, and conduct market research to identify potential development opportunities.
Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Identify suitable parcels of land for development.
Negotiate purchase agreements and conduct due diligence on prospective properties.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project designs that meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory requirements.
Create and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and managing cash flow.
Develop marketing strategies to promote real estate projects to potential buyers or tenants.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards throughout the development process.
Communicate project goals, progress updates, and challenges to stakeholders.
Provide weekly project reports to the General Manager, and to the BOT upon request.
Monitor performance with tracking software take corrective measures when necessary, and prepare detailed updates.
Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Periodically plan and implement in-house professional training to address knowledge gaps identified within the team as well as to introduce new standards to the team.

Key Requirements

B.Sc./B.A./B.Eng./Tech
5-10 years of business development experience, preferably in the Real Estate/Construction Industry/sector.
Certificate in PMP, HSE, and Prince 2/CPM will be an added advantage.
The ability to make use of MS Project tool, JIRA, or Trello will be an added advantage.
