Position Summary
We are looking for an influential, entrepreneurial business development /seasoned sales professional to join us as we expand into a growing market with our travel products and solutions.
This role is crucial to the growth of our company by leading the sales of our human capital consulting and learning services.
Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable about the travel industry and key markets.
Responsibilities
Strategically hold call and source leads to find prospects
Research clients’ travel needs, strategically match their needs with our solutions and close deals that fully align the two
Provide information and advice to customers on travel services such as airline fares and schedules, accommodation, car rental, cruises, tours, travel insurance, passports and visas
Achieve sales targets by maximizing conversion of enquiries into sales
Receive monies from clients and issue receipts
Relieve at other stores as directed by the Travel Management Team
Attend promotional events and activities to maximise sales opportunities and referrals
Maintain knowledge of current products and industry practices
Create and accurately maintain client files
Contribute to product development process based on feedback from sales interactions
Meet sales target of between 60–150 million Naira monthly.
Qualification
Minimum Bachelor’s degree required in any field (sales experience is very important)
Minimum of 5 years experience.
Track record of successful sales performance, from lead generation to close.
