Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving sales initiatives within the electrical engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and generate new business opportunities in the electrical engineering industry.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitor landscape.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential and existing clients.
Develop tailored proposals and presentations that align with client requirements and business goals.
Work closely with the engineering and technical teams to ensure that project deliverables meet client expectations.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close business deals effectively.
Provide technical insights and support during sales meetings and client discussions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client communications using CRM software.
Track and report on sales performance metrics and business development activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
2 – 5 years proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the engineering or technical sector.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and technologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling business proposals.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
Strong network in the electrical engineering or related industries.
