Bursar University Librarian

The Job

The Bursar shall be a full-time officer and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day- to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the University.

Qualifications and Experience Candidates for the post of Bursar, Olabisi Onabanjo University should possess:

A good honours degree in Accounting or related discipline from reputable institution not below Second Class Lower Division with NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption/Exclusion; and
Full membership of ACCA, ACA, ACMA or CPA with ten (10) years Post-professional qualification/cognate experience in a university or comparable institution
Relevant Higher Degree or Postgraduate professional qualification will be an added advantage.
Candidates must have attained the rank of Deputy Bursar or its equivalent in a University or related institution.
Candidates that are over sixty (60) years as at the date of this publication need not apply.

Tenure

The appointment is for a term of five (5) years, renewable for one year subject to satisfactory performance as may be determined by the Governing Council of Olabisi Onabanjo University.

Remuneration The person appointed shall be placed on consolidated salary and shall enjoy other conditions of service applicable to the position of a Principal Officer of the University.
