Brands and Communications Specialist

Responsibilities

Execute initiatives for creative marketing campaigns/events aimed at increasing brand awareness and sales performance.
Implementation of marketing strategy in alignment with strategic business objectives.
Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities in various areas (market research, data analysis,branding ideas,campaign execution,promotional materials, advertising copies, graphics design,events planning etc.).
Supervise the smooth execution of all events in line with agreed plans and directives.
Implement plans and initiatives for strategic business partnerships andexternal contractual agreementsin line with the direction of the marketing department.
Manage relationships with technology service providers (e.g. website management, website payment platforms, whatsapp order taking services, etc) to ensure optimal performance & contractual compliance. Manage SLAs and resolve issues to ensure vendor services meet business needs.
Liaise with external vendors to execute campaigns and promotional events in line with the direction of the marketing plan.
Provide reports on the performance of marketingactivities and assess against company goals (KPIs).
Suggest new initiatives and strategies to increase brand awareness,revenue and ROI of the business.
Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
Analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
Conduct market research & analysis to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
Ensure alignment with brand standards of all marketing-related material.
Responsible for ensuring that the customer journey across all channels (outlets, website, third party platforms, whatsapp, social media, etc.) is seamless and optimised at every touchpoint.
Monitor 3rdparty platforms (Glovo, Chowdeck, etc) to ensure maximum visibility and proper brand representation.
Scheduled outlet visits to ensure compliance to brand image and guidelines.
Oversee the smooth running of the centralised whatsapp customer experience centre.
Ensure that response to customer complaints/feedback (across all channels) are made in a timely manner and meets stipulated guidelines e.g. brand tone, speak, etc.
Responsible for relationship management and communications with influencers.
Responsible for growing our customer marketing database.
Undertake other tasks of the marketing plan as assigned by your line manager.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Management or similar field.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand and marketing strategies.
Data Savvy. Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content marketing.
Proficiency in marketing tools and software, including CRM systems, and data analytics tools.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
