Brand Activations Manager

Job descriptionThe Brand Activations Manager at iROKOtv is an experienced marketing specialist responsible for driving and implementing new subscriber acquisition for iROKOtv.com.You will be in charge of winning over new long-term customers through strategic, highly effective activations campaigns with strategic partners, including telcos, ISPs and OEMs. These will take place across a variety of venues and locations in Lagos and beyond including customer activations and consumer research at strategic locations. You need to be highly data-driven, willing to experiment yet be guided by maximizing the ROI per spend. You will be entrusted with helping to recruit, train, motivate and supervise the activations team members making sure all targets are met or exceeded.The job is ideal for someone looking for a new challenge in their career: iROKOtv has been hugely successful based on its content and business model alone – we are now looking for a Customer Activations Manager who can help take our model to the next growth stage. Responsibilities

    Help develop our strategy for offline marketing and activations with West Africa partners, including the selection of venues, set-up and type of activation
    Ensure partners keep to their partnership agreements by providing them with marketing materials, guidance and incentives
    Spearhead the recruitment, training, supervision and monitoring of all partnership activations and consumer research endeavours with partners
    Supervise all equipment and materials to be used during activations
    Ensure the partnership activation heroes are fully trained, highly competent and motivated and equipped to meet their conversion targets
    Measure, report on and optimize campaign effectiveness, return on marketing spend and campaign ROI ensuring overall Cost Per Acquisition is profitable
    Cultivate partnerships with relevant partners across relevant complimentary products / services
    Communicate strategies and results to senior management consistently and regularly
    You are willing to go the extra mile to ensure we deliver the best user experience and monetization

Desired Skills and Experience

    You have at least 3-5 years of experience in results-driven marketing & customer activations for a variety of brands, services or products (ideally including an Internet Service Provider)
    You have experience building a customer base for a new product from scratch
    You are highly analytical, data-driven, and work in an ROI-focused manner
    You have experience with devising and implementing activations campaigns in Lagos and beyond 
    You are a strong team player who has demonstrated leadership qualities in the past
