Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Boiler and Fuel Blend Operator to join our team at the BULK EMULSION-SME Plant.
The role involves ensuring the smooth operation, repair, and maintenance of boiler systems and fuel blending processes in a hazardous chemical and explosive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain boiler systems, including Electric Boiler and Steam Boiler.
Blend and monitor fuel mixtures in the Fuel Blend Reactor and Oxidizing Blend Reactor.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment such as the Screw Compressor and Hydraulic Systems.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and fuel blending processes.
Hands-on experience in boiler operation and fuel blending in hazardous chemical or explosive industries.
Expertise in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience with PLC systems integrated with HMI is preferred.
Requirements
HND or B.Engin Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Trade certification or vocational training in boiler operation and fuel blending is advantageous.
Safety training for hazardous environments is a plus.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Familiarity with boiler operation and fuel blending processes.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
Commitment to safety and compliance in hazardous environments.
Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
Candidates residing within close proximity such as kaduna, Abuja and Niger State will be given priority consideration.
