Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our secondary school faculty.
The ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons, promote a strong understanding of biological concepts, and foster a love for science.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering the curriculum, assessing student progress, and supporting the academic and personal development of learners.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality biology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Design engaging, interactive, and inclusive learning activities that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including providing revision support and targeted interventions.
Promote scientific thinking and inquiry through laboratory experiments, fieldwork, and practical demonstrations.
Create a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s behavior policy.
Attend departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school functions.
Participate in continuing professional development and contribute to the broader life of the school.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor Degree qualification with at least 2 years work experience.
