Bilingual Finance Business Partner

Job Summary:

The Bilingual Finance Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor to operational and commercial teams, providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, business acumen, and bilingual proficiency to effectively communicate across various regions. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to optimize financial performance, drive efficiency, and ensure alignment with corporate financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights on revenue, costs, and profitability.
Prepare variance analysis and reports to highlight key financial trends.

Business Partnering:

Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to support financial decision-making.
Guide cost control, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiencies.
Act as a liaison between finance and other departments to ensure financial alignment with business objectives.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting following company policies and international accounting standards.
Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Monitor key financial KPIs and propose corrective actions when necessary.

Risk Management & Cost Control:

Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Review contracts, tenders, and agreements from a financial perspective to minimize risks and maximize profitability.
Develop cost optimization strategies to improve overall financial performance.

Process Improvement & Efficiency:

Identify and implement best practices in financial processes and reporting.
Support digital transformation initiatives, including ERP and financial system enhancements.
Drive continuous improvement in financial operations and reporting accuracy.

Other Responsibilities

Review financial reports, vouchers and supporting documentation, bank reconciliations, and other financial data received from field operations.
Prepare and/or review entries for posting in the Accounting system.
Reconcile accounts payables and receivables
Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Interfacing with representatives from each francophone countries
Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
Secure financial information by completing database backups
Support month-end and year-end close process
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and generally accepted accounting procedures

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, business partner, or a similar role within facility management, real estate, or a related industry.
Fluent in French and English (written and spoken) – essential for cross-border collaboration.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present insights to stakeholders.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local financial regulations.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, international environment.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
