BAR STEWARD STEWARD

Purpose/Role:Responsible for the Bar & Lounge facility and the Service of Drinks in the Bar.   Key aims and objectives:

    Financial controls of all money received using POS System
    Overseeing the Bar stock and Bar Stock accountability
    Cleanliness of The Facility

Prime Responsibilities and Duties:

    Accountability for all money received from Bar
    Paying of all money received to Financial Controller
    Responsible for all Bar activities including Stock & Sales
    Maintenance and Cleanliness of Bar & Lounge facility
    Liaise with ND staff to ensure the continued provision of the appropriate service
    Handles complaints and special requests
    Monitors hygiene and food handling practices for compliance with established policies and procedures
    Conducts periodical stock takes as necessary and ensures stock rotation
    Enforces safety requirements and models safe behavior
    Attends and participates in training activities and attends meetings as required
    Ensures security of departmental equipment and inventory
    Ensures Company confidentiality
    Performs duties as assigned by the Camp Management Team
    Reporting all defects in the Bar and Lounge

The Persons:

    Ideally be registered for at least one year as a registered nurse (desirable but not essential)
    Strong organisational and time management skills combined with a high level of initiative
    Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer services
    Using POS Systems and strong numeracy Skills
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Food Hygiene awareness
    Ability to supervise and train employees when required
    Computer literate
    Ability to work in a busy, stressful environment with extreme changes of temperatures
    Ability to utilise time efficiently to meet all job responsibilities
