Bank Teller

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:

Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
Answer customer inquiries related to accounts, services, and procedures.
Help customers open and close accounts.
Build rapport with customers through friendly and helpful interactions.

Cash Handling:

Receive, count, and verify cash for deposits and withdrawals.
Balance cash drawers at the end of the day.
Handle money orders and cashier’s checks.

Transaction Processing:

Process checks and savings withdrawals.
Update and maintain accurate customer account information.
Issue and verify debit cards.
Process transfers, stop payments, and other account services.

Promotional Activities:

Promote bank products and services, like savings accounts, loans, and credit cards.
Assist with opening new accounts and understanding various financial services.

Security and Compliance:

Follow bank policies and procedures, especially regarding security and confidentiality.
Maintain a secure environment for customer transactions and bank assets.

Requirements

Candidates should possess an HND qualification with 1 – 2 years experience.
