Responsibilities
Coordinate the overall activities including needs and requirements.
Ensure the proper oversight and scheduling of staff, equipment needs and performance, and raw material levels.
Troubleshoot production equipment for mechanical issues and propose maintenance activities.
Responsible for the quality of product and operational processes.
Provide safety process recommendation and coordination as needed.
Provide in-process quality inspections/checks for lot dates, weight and metal detection.
Ensure adherence to GMPs.
Coordinate equipment sanitation needs.
Provide summary and efficiency reports including production hours, material used and future production planning needs.
Continuously improve process efficiency and drive cost reductions.
Ensure that employees perform all elements of assignment in a safe and productive manner.
Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives that produce total costs.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Must possess a qualification in Food Technology or equivalent.
4-5 years of experience required from the food or confectionery industry.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to deal with employees at all levels within the organization.
Strong oral and written skills.
