Job Description
The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and databases, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of backend technologies, experience with APIs, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of backend systems.
Build and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Stay updated on emerging backend technologies and best practices.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or PHP.
Experience with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and API integration.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Understanding of server management and deployment processes.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
