Summary:
To develop sales plans to achieve orexceed the monthly/annual sales objectives and targets for assigned regions.
To ensure adequate coverage,distribution, visibility, merchandising and pricing of products.
Responsibilities:
Keeping in contact with existingcustomers in person and by phone
Making appointments with and meetingnew customers
Agreeing sales, prices, contracts andpayments
Meeting sales targets
Promoting new products and any special deals
Advising customers about deliveryschedules and after-sales service
Recording orders and sending details tothe sales office
Giving feedback on sales trends
Requirements:
Graduate – University or Polytechnic
Minimum of 1year experience, preferably in sales
FMCG experience is desirable
Fluency in English Language
Proficiency in MS-Word, MS-Excel, andMS-PowerPoint
Person Specification
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Good communication and ‘people skills’
Confidence, motivation anddetermination
The ability to work well on your ownand also as part of a team
Good organisational and timemanagement skills
The ability to deal with rejection
Attention to detail
The ability to develop in-depthknowledge about your products and markets
Good business sense and a professional manner
