Audit Manager

Our client is an industry leader for cheque provision and other security printing solutions in Nigeria and has become the preferred supplier of cheques to major banks in Nigeria. Due to expansion they are in need of an AUDIT MANAGER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement risk-based internal audit plans for financial, operational, and production processes.
Evaluate internal controls in procurement, production, inventory, and cost management.
Identify operational risks, inefficiencies, and compliance gaps, recommending mitigation strategies.
Audit financial transactions, production costs, supply chain processes, and revenue recognition policies.
Prepare audit reports with actionable recommendations and follow up on implementation.
Monitor fraud risks, procurement practices, and material wastage for cost control.
Collaborate with departments to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Minimum 5 years of auditing experience, preferably in manufacturing or commercial printing.
Strong knowledge of internal controls, cost accounting, and risk management.
Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage audit teams effectively
High attention to detail and ethical standards
Excellent analytical, communication and reporting skills
