Job Summary:
The Assistant Production Manager will support the Production Manager in overseeing the daily operations and manufacturing processes for the production of Mshel building blocks and machinery. They will assist in coordinating production schedules, monitoring quality control, troubleshooting issues, and helping to optimize production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Production Manager in leading the manufacturing team and overseeing all aspects of the production process
Help develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines
Monitor production activities and identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, and quality
Assist in the implementation of quality control measures and protocols to ensure products meet specifications
Troubleshoot equipment problems and collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve issues quickly
Provide training and guidance to production staff on proper operating procedures and safety protocols
Analyze production data and provide reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the Production Manager
Collaborate with other departments, such as Purchasing, Inventory to coordinate production needs
Recommend process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance overall operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
2-3 years of experience in the production of blocks and troubleshooting of machinery
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the production team
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Familiarity with machinery operations and maintenance procedures
