Job Purpose
To ensure the production of the required quantities of finished goods that meet consumer expectations for quality and functionality, delivered at the appropriate time, optimum cost, and maximum efficiency.
This role also involves motivating factory personnel and ensuring adherence to best practices throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in ensuring an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.
Implement production planning and control processes to optimize workflow.
Liaise with the Production Manager to ensure products are available in the right quality, quantity, and at the right time.
Undertake weekly reconciliation of all materials received for production works.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the availability of machinery and equipment.
Liaise with the Project/Planning team on shop drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for production.
Sign off on production material requisition notes.
Sign off on daily production notes.
Work with the Systems House on testing new chemical systems and addressing quality-related issues.
Ensure strict adherence to all safety and environmental precautions in the production area.
Ensure compliance with customer project safety programs.
Provide on-the-job training for fabrication personnel to enhance skills and productivity.
Ensure the cost-effective design of prefabricated buildings and other prefabrication structures.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year industrial experience in full management grade.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
Proficiency in production management tools and software.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
