Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager/Officer Engineering to join our team in Sagamu. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge and handson experience in engineering and maintenance operations within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
Manage the maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, including:
Siemens PLC and drives
Motors (AC/DC/SEMO)
Cranes and forklifts
Sensors (temperature, pressure, encoding, and various types)
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Heating elements and other industrial machinery
Develop, execute, and document daily maintenance plans.
Oversee team management and ensure proper delegation of maintenance tasks.
Implement and monitor breakdown maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, drives, motors, heaters, and other critical components.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in maintenance operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
12-15 years of experience in engineering roles within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC, industrial drives, and equipment troubleshooting.
Proven team management and leadership skills.
