Assistant Logistics Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Logistics Officer with automobile experience to support our logistics team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing drivers, maintaining vehicles, scheduling inspections, and ensuring all vehicles are ready for every inspection and logistics activity.

Key Responsibilities:

Driver Management: Assist in supervising drivers, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Vehicle Maintenance: Monitor and maintain vehicle conditions, ensuring timely servicing, repairs, and cleanliness.
Inspection Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule vehicle inspections, maintaining records of inspection dates, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Logistics Support: Prepare vehicles for logistics activities, including loading, dispatching, and route planning.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, inspection reports, and logistics activities.
Compliance: Ensure all vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards before deployment.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Logistics Officer on vehicle status, driver performance, and logistics operations.

Requirements:

Education: Minimum of OND/HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Automobile Engineering, or related fields.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a logistics or automobile management role.
Automobile Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, inspection processes, and automotive systems.
Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and logistics management software is an advantage.
