Job Duties
Administering college placement examinations and other testing options, ensuring accurate and timely scoring.
Interpreting test scores to identify students’ academic strengths and weaknesses, and advising students on their academic pathways.
Collaborating with the Center for Alternative Studies and Educational Testing (CAS) team to develop and implement testing programs, policies, and procedures.
Staying current with best practices in educational assessment, testing, and academic support, and participating in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Evaluate students progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance assessment methods, share resources, and support student learning.
Participate in department meetings, staff training, and school events.
Communicate with teachers about student progress and concerns.
Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and academic programs.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful work environment.
Qualification and Skills
Possession of a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, Commercial or equivalent courses to the related field.
Possession of minimum of one year of experience and/or training in computerized test administration, academic assessment/placement, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Strong computer program manipulation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse student populations and academic staff.
NYSCCompletion is Compulsory.
P.G.D.E. and T.R.C.N. certification is an added advantage.
Must be fluent in English Language (written and spoken) and should be a go-getter.
Must be an excellent team builder and player.
Strong subject matter expertise and pedagogical knowledge.
