Job Description
The Architect will be responsible for the design and development of building projects from concept to construction.
This includes collaborating with clients, developing design concepts, preparing construction documents, and overseeing project execution.
The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities
Meet with clients to understand their needs, develop project briefs, and present design proposals.
Develop schematic designs, including site analysis, space planning, and building form development.
Create detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documents using relevant software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp).
Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for bidding and construction.
Ensure designs comply with all applicable building codes, regulations, and zoning ordinances.
Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design intent and contract documents.
Conduct site visits, review shop drawings, and address construction-related issues.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other consultants.
Integrate sustainable design principles into projects.
Stay up-to-date with current architectural trends, technologies, and materials.
Qualifications
Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design and construction documentation.
Proficiency in relevant architectural software,likeRevit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, BIM.
Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
Excellent design sensibility and ability to develop creative and functional solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present design concepts effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Architectural license is required.
