Applicant should possess:
Minimum of five to seven years’ experience in general administration
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in business or related field with a second class upper (2:1) Professional qualifications in either CIPM/ICAN/NIM will be an added advantage.Experience in bookkeeping and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Ability to research, analyze, and retrieve data necessary to complete duties
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs
Familiarity with local, state and federal employment related laws
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with a wide range of personalities and manage conflict in a professional, productive manner
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Skilled at managing time and multiple priorities to carry out assignments in a timely and thorough manner
Commitment to professional and ethical standards
GOOD PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE OF ICT – INCLUDING EXCEL SHEETS + MODERN ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE PACKAGES. – PEACHTREE, etc THIS WOULD BE TESTED.
Proven operational HR track-record – experience of providing a senior generalist HR service to managers across a full range of HR issues
Excellent skills in handling and advising on complex people management issues
Experience of and well developed skills in recruitment and selection
Good attention to detail
Understanding staff care for humanitarian staff, in particular approaches to welfare, stress, R&R and debriefing
Good facilitation skills and ability to deliver induction briefing/training
Strong communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills in English, with experience in managing multicultural teams
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
